- The key project for Salisbury Resources Limited is the Cattle Grid copper mine at Mount Gunson South Australia.
- The Mount Gunson field has produced copper intermittently for more than 100 year Cattle Grid is by far the largest deposit at Mt Gunson.
- Cattle Grid deposit yielded 7.2 Mt @ 1.9% Cu and more than 8 g/t silver for a total of 137,000 tonnes of contained copper between 1974 – 1986.
- ML 5599 over the Cattle Grid deposit is a granted mining lease with excellent access, power and water infrastructure and camp facilities and is not subject to Native Title negotiations or heritage issues.
- Salisbury’s Exploration Target is 11-12 million tonnes @ 1-1.5 % copper and 5-10 g/t silver with additional cobalt credits from the prospective zone of the un-mined Cattle Grid Breccia north of the existing pit.
- Mineralisation at Cattle Grid comprises copper sulphides, principally chalcocite, bornite and chalcopyrite forming a network of fracture-filling veins.

- Cattle Grid is a flat-lying breccia ore body with an average thickness of 4.58m at a depth of 40m below the surface with an easily removed overburden resulting in a very low-cost open cot mining operation.
- The ore can be treated with existing proven metallurgical technology.
- Since 1986 a copper leaching plant has been in operation with in-situ leaching of ore from the old Main Open Cut located nearby.

- Salisbury Resources Limited commissioned consultant geologist, David Tonkin, who has a long association with the Mount Gunson copper deposits to review the remaining exploration potential within ML 5599 which partly encloses the previously mines areas of Cattle Grid.
- The prospective zone outlined by Tonkin has an area of 975,100 sq m and a mean thickness of 4.58m.
- Using an SG of 2.5 this represents a maximum potential tonnage of 11.16 Mt .
- To achieve an economic target of 150,000 tonnes of contained Cu the average grade of the potential tonnage would have to be 1.34% Cu. (Tonkin 2010)
- Previous drilling was mainly open-hole and was plagued by contamination of samples and lack of reliable assay data.

- Ore zone is known to extend into the prospective zone.
- The objective is to drill the prospective zone for a target resource of around 11-12 Mt at an average grade of 1-1.5 % copper thus establishing the basis for a long-term highly profitable operation.
