Leslie Mann
Non-Executive Chairman

Leslie has experience in building operational companies; he has held the role of CEO in three successful businesses. He has held board and advisory positions with several other medium size companies. Leslie has considerable knowledge with private equity and capital structures, having put together syndicates to invest in private companies.

He has established several commercial property syndicates. Leslie has been directly involved and acted as a consultant in the field of merger and acquisition. Leslie brings strong commercial and financial skills to board.

David Costello
Managing Director

David Costello is an experienced consultant Process Engineer and Project/Study Manager with over 14 years in a range of commodities including gold, mineral sands, base metals, diamonds, industrial minerals and oil/gas. He also has sound financial experience in the resources industry, having worked in the stock-broking industry for 5 years as a Specialist Resources Analyst. He has had previous experience in managing a succesful public mining companyand is familiar with coprorate governance issues.

As a result of having technical and financial experience, David has a good overview of the main issues involved in developing a resource project from the initial exploration phase through to the feasibility, financing, design, construction, commissioning and operating phases. David has a good network of contacts in developing resource companies and has worked both within Australia and internationally.

Michael McDonald
Non-Executive Director

Mike is a lawyer and partner in a specialist resources law firm, McDonald Steed McGrath. Mike has over 25 years experience within the resources sector, having been in-house counsel for the Bell Group and Delhi Petroleum prior to founding McDonald Steed McGrath in 1988.

Mike has specialized in providing start-up and operations services to mining and infrastructure projects in Australia and elsewhere and has extensive experience in Native title matters. Mike has held executive and non-executive roles in a number of Australian and was a promoter and founding director of Southern Gold Ltd.

Pierre Van Der Merwe
Company Secretary

Pierre is a Chartered Accountant of 20 years experience and is currently a director of HLB Mann Judd (SA) Pty Ltd, a firm of Chartered Accountants in Adelaide, and a number of other private companies. He provides corporate advice and support to a number of companies listed on the ASX and has held the position of Company Secretary to ASX listed companies.

Pierre has extensive experience in the provision of professional services to clients, including tax consulting, management of client accounting systems, reporting at Board level, assisting with financial interpretations and strategic planning. He is also a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
